1. Who we are

THE FORGE AI RADIO ("The Forge", "we", "us") is an independent creator-discovery, radio and community platform. The public service is available at theforgeairadio.com.

2. Information The Forge may collect

• Account information: information you provide when creating or maintaining a Forge account, such as display name and email address.
• Creator and submission information: titles, artist/creator names, artwork, uploaded media, descriptions, external provider links, rights confirmations and other information you choose to submit.
• Community activity: favourites, playlists, challenge ratings, submissions, listening activity and similar actions used to operate Forge features.
• Technical information: standard request and security information that may be produced when you access the service, such as browser/device information and server logs.

3. How we use information

We use information to operate accounts and creator profiles, process submissions, provide radio and discovery features, maintain playlists and challenges, communicate service information, support users, protect the service, troubleshoot problems and understand how Forge features are being used.

We do not sell personal information to advertisers or external music providers.

4. Provider Bridge and external music services

The Forge Provider Bridge can recognize links supplied by creators from external services such as YouTube, Spotify, SoundCloud, Suno, DistroKid/HyperFollow, Bandcamp and Apple Music. The way a link is handled depends on what the provider permits.

A provider link by itself does not authorize The Forge to extract, copy or rebroadcast that provider's hosted audio or video. Forge radio playback requires media the creator has supplied or otherwise has authority to make available for broadcast.

External providers operate under their own privacy policies and terms. When you open or use an external provider player or link, that provider may receive information according to its own policies.

5. YouTube API Services and embedded playback

The Forge includes YouTube integration through official YouTube embedded players and is designed to use YouTube API Services for Provider Bridge features.

Our planned YouTube API use is limited to public information associated with creator-provided YouTube URLs, such as video, playlist or channel identifiers, titles, thumbnails, channel names and other public video or playlist metadata, together with official YouTube playback.

The Forge does not ask for or store a user's YouTube or Google password, does not extract YouTube audio or video, and does not use the YouTube integration to upload, edit or delete a user's YouTube content.

If The Forge later introduces Google/YouTube account authorization or access to non-public YouTube data, this Privacy Policy and the relevant consent screens will be updated before that functionality is made available.

Use of YouTube-enabled Forge features is also subject to the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of information is described in the Google Privacy Policy.

You can review connections and permissions associated with your Google Account through Google Account connections.

6. Cookies and sessions

The Forge may use essential session cookies or similar local browser mechanisms needed for sign-in, account security and core site functionality. We do not use this policy to claim that a third-party provider's cookies are controlled by The Forge; embedded provider players may set or use their own cookies according to their policies.

7. Retention, access and deletion

We keep Forge account and creator information for as long as reasonably needed to operate the service, maintain records, protect the platform and meet applicable obligations. Public provider metadata may be refreshed or removed when it is no longer needed or when provider requirements call for it.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information held by The Forge by emailing [email protected]. We may retain limited information where reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution or legal obligations.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards intended to protect account, creator and service information from unauthorized access, misuse or disclosure. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

9. Children

The Forge is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly seek personal information from children under 13.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as The Forge adds features, provider integrations or legal requirements. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date and, where appropriate, providing additional notice.
